Rafe and Ryley are Beta Wolves of the Gray Pack, these are the strongest men in there pack, and they are also firefighters for the Kansas City I was gifted this book in exchange for my honest opinion and a review. It has been twenty long years since their parents had disappeared. Know all they want and dream of is finding their mate, and having a family of there very own. But fate has other ideas and has thrown a big wrench in their plans it so happens that its in the form of there mate …Shandi Martin. Shandi Martin is a fighter she has fought cancer for her very life, and was utterly destroyed when her boyfriend who she thought would stand by her especially at a time like this just leaves her.
So why in the hell would she ever want to risk losing her heart again to any man? Facing her destiny is harder than she ever thought, especially know as she realizes that she had stopped living her life to the fullest in order to protect her heart. But just as there new found relationship is progressing beautifully a mysterious rogue wolf threatens them and their new relationship, they must make a hard choice. Can they all accept a life with just one another, or do they really need a family just to be happy?
What a beautifully written book as always Lori brings us so much, suspense, turmoil and romance as well as some super hot sexy scenes no wonder I keep falling in love with her Gray Pack over and over with each book I read.
It is a fresh and different story. Canada Only. They all had junk from there pasts to deal with but they did it together. Seeds of Seduction. Showing
With Rafe and Ryley I loved how they have distinct and separate traits with each of them having their own personalities sort of yin and yang of each other. I even loved how they had so much emotional baggage because of how there parents left them it totally made me fall for these two hunky wolves even more. Ooo and I need to add just how amazing they are with Shandi so kind caring and gentle. Shandi has had it so hard know these two hunky men think that they can have her heart that easily … Shandi kicks up a storm before she allows these two hulks to creep in to her heart.
But they soon do that and more, I totally love there chemistry and the build up even with there ups and downs you no they are meant to be together, her character is just amazing I totally felt for her as well as wanting to hug her and be her friend. I totally want to no more about Delaky she is so intriguing. My last boyfriend wore a size fourteen shoe, but his was pinky sized. There were several other patrons of the bar currently chuckling at her bold statement.
One particularly deep rumble of mirth came from her right. The direction of the two sexy Viking Firemen she was trying to ignore. She whipped her head around to find herself face-to-face with the two men who had been starring in her sexual fantasies for the day. They were both smiling like dogs stalking the mail man, and she swallowed hard before turning back to stare into the bottom of her mug of beer. I cannot wait for the next instalment to this wonderful series. Hands down, out of the three books I have read in this series so far - this has got to be a favorite.
My heart and praise goes out to Shandi Martin Human for her survival of cervical cancer. She is the perfect hero to look up too when it comes to beating cancer. Her story is captivating as she emotionally deals with life and living with the consequences from her chemotherapy and radiation treatments to beat the cancer. I loved Rafe and Ryley and their past baggage of being abandon by their parents to the Gray pack just melted my heart. I think I liked Rafe the best, he seemed to be more level headed and knew immediately what he wanted out of life.
I highly recommend this Gray Pack Series to all paranormal romance lovers. I look forward to the next book in the series. Excellent Read! Jan 10, Lisa rated it it was amazing. That she felt that they wouldn't love her was heart wrenching. After she told them she couldn't have kids I was very upset for the way they responded, in that moment it confirmed her worst fears that they couldn't love her I think of Ryley as more of the child and that is why it hit him so hard that he had to run away When Rafe decided to stay I felt so much affection and love for him right then and there Rafe in my mind is the "Man" he is Loving and so affectionate and oh sooo romantic he melts my heart..
Ryley would keep them laughing and having fun And Shandi well she is the glue that keeps them all together. I love the whole dynamic to this trio Ok so that is a little insight on how I felt about this amazing book without giving too much away Sep 17, Eva Millien rated it it was amazing.
A force to be reckoned with, the Whetstone brothers dream of finding their mate and having a family but fate just dumped a monkey wrench in their plans by the name of Shandi Martin in this spellbinding paranormal romance. The chemistry sizzles with intense heat from every page and the sex scenes are scorching A force to be reckoned with, the Whetstone brothers dream of finding their mate and having a family but fate just dumped a monkey wrench in their plans by the name of Shandi Martin in this spellbinding paranormal romance.
Tension builds as they discover a young injured female werewolf who has Rafe and Ryley questioning their past and setting events in motion that could lead to disaster. Shandi Martin is a teacher.
She loves children and would love to have a family of her own, but a bout with cancer leaves her unable to have children. Her boyfriend also leaves her, adding to her feeling of inadequacy and avoiding relationships. Rafe Whetstone is a Beta in the Gray werewolf pack and a firefighter.
He is quieter and more thoughtful of the two brothers, as well as being the elder. He has been deeply hurt by the disappearance of his parents twenty years earlier, but refuses to acknow Shandi Martin is a teacher. He has been deeply hurt by the disappearance of his parents twenty years earlier, but refuses to acknowledge it. His brother, Ryley Whetstone, is the younger and more fun loving, open, flirtatious and thrilled to have found his mate in Shandi. Since her boyfriend dumped her, Shandi has all but given up hope of a fulfilling relationship, never expecting to have two men sweep her off her feet and into their lives.
Rafe and Ryley have always known they would share a mate, even if her inability to conceive and some secrets from the past could cause some problems the three of them may not be able to overcome. I really enjoy this story.
It is filled with erotic and suspenseful twists and turns. The characters are well written and fully developed. Unlike most stories of this genre, both of the main male characters have distinct and separate traits with their own personalities. Too many authors make brother characters clones of each other. The plot is as interesting as the characters, which makes this book very difficult to put down. I am definitely going to read the rest of the series and look forward to the next installment.
Things are definitely getting interesting in the Gray Pack.

Not all of Legacy of The Wolf Author: Lori King A school teacher with a tragic past who has overcome insurmountable odds against an illness and has suffered great heartache as a result. These are the questions that arise in your mind as you are drawn in to the story. I truly love this story and the characters. The plot and feelings that Shandi, Ryley and Rafe go through are totally believable and what you would expect under the circumstances.
The chemistry between all three is electric and keeps you wanting more. When this trio finally gives into their fate and pleasure And a betrayal from one of their own may rip KJ's future apart Can the packs come back in one piece And will KJ and her parents be able to start to mend fences and old hurts from years before and be the family they were all destined to be in the Gray Pack If you haven't read it yet your really missing out Aug 15, Trixie rated it it was amazing.
Oh hell Yeah!!!! Dreams of the Wolf definitely gave me dreams I don't want to give spoilers so this will be as vague as I can KJ is a strong female who has her life which has not been easy all planned out. As soon as she completes the job she was sent to do Oh no I suddenly don't feel so well! Call the Doc!
Kink number one in KJ's plan Ain't no room for denial and he is human to boot! This book has a whole lotta drama; a whole lotta sexy steam parts; throw in a giggle and a tear Jun 24, 1-Click Addict Support Group rated it it was amazing. Thomas Jameson, but in her battle to keep her distance, she and Thomas find themselves in a whole peck of trouble.
Will Bryson and Thomas prove to her and each other they really belong together, and will do anything to protect themselves and each other? Wow, I truly love this series. She wants her freedom, not mates, even though Thomas and Bryson are some damn, hot, sexy mates. Sep 15, Shay Lb rated it it was amazing. Another wonderful Gray Pack book from Lori King. So wonderful in this book to see how the Gray Pack is growing. Her parents were on the run from Nicholas Kaplan from the Kaplan Pack.
They abandoned her two older brothers with the Gray Pack when the were little and now came seeking their help. KJ came alone to the Gray Pack. Seeking only help, she never thought she would find her mate instead. Thomas Jameson is a human. He came to be the Pack doctor, since his sister was a newly mated pack member. He was traveling to help KJ's pack and her mom.
He was drawn to her, lusting after her not understanding why. As they fought their attraction in the journey, they ended up getting captured. Bryson Samuels from the Kaplan Pack, smelled his mate. He rescued KJ and Thomas and left his pack.
They were both her mates. KJ had not wanted one and now had 2. The guys had to face the fact that they didn't know her, but were both drawn to her and had to share her. Great twist in the series! The Gray Pack is wonderful, cannot wait to read more about Whitney in the next book. My favorite part about this series, besides hot werewolves, is the way Lori King ties the books together. The books roll flawless from one to another, sometimes overlapping a bit.
Nothing feels missed or skipped over as you meet and get to know these characters. A must read!!!! Oct 10, Eva Millien rated it it was amazing. Thomas Jefferson is the only human on the mission and Bryson Samuels is from the enemy pack and the reader can only give in to the desire to know everything about this fiery mating as the chemistry sizzles from every page, sparks fly in every direction and emotional turmoil captures the heart.
The strong, charismatic characters demand attention and the fast paced, smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of passion, action and suspense. The intriguing events draws the reader in and guarantees that there is never a dull moment while the vivid details capture the imagination and make it easy for the reader to become absorbed in the story. Aug 16, Pearls rated it really liked it. Life is what happens when you're planning other stuff.
That is certainly true for the threesome in Dreams of the Wolf. Thomas, KJ and Bryson all hate their lives and look forward to a change.
But when Fate puts them literally in each other's paths, Life takes an unexpected turn for them. Thomas, the human doctor who has agreed to be the wolf pack's physician, joins just in time to help the Pack rescue KJ's pack from the evil Kaplan pack, of which Bryson is a guard.
All three world's collide when Life is what happens when you're planning other stuff. All three world's collide when KJ and Thomas are taken prisoner. And again during a vicious battle scene. Heartbreaking scenes balance out the heady mating bond. It all ends with one question: Will they cling to the dreams of their future lives apart, or cling to their "dream of a future" together? Aug 17, Tracey rated it it was amazing.
Smoking hot read with a gripping story line and relatable characters. The heroine, Katie Jo Whetstone KJ is trying to save her dying mother by contacting her estranged brothers in a foreign pack. She never expected or wanted to meet her mate, much less tow of them! Steamy, sexy story with enough action to keep us on the edge of our seats! Really good addition to The Gray Pack series, but could be read as a stand alone.
